I Offer a Transcription & Arranging Service that can be tailored to suit your project/needs, specialising in Big Band/Jazz Ensembles.

Transcription is the creation of sheet music, written out note-for-note, through listening to the original arrangement from a recording (also known as record-copies).

Arranging is creating a new typically larger arrangement (for whatever ensemble is required) from simpler source material (i.e a Piano Version of a song arranged into a Big Band/Orchestral Version)

I have over 10 years experience in both these areas of sheet music engraving & orchestration, and I am happy to adapt transcriptions or arrangements to your particular needs (e.g if you need instrumentation of a Big Band chart changing for players that you have available) 

 

I am also able to create professional engravings of your own handwritten copies, creating both Band Parts and Scores.
